Noble Gold Investments Review 2026

A $20,000 minimum, segregated storage and fees to confirm in writing.

Noble Gold markets precious-metals IRAs alongside direct purchases. Its official Gold IRA page sets a $20,000 IRA minimum, and its support information describes segregated storage through International Depository Services. The most important finding in this review is a transparency issue: two live official pages publish different fee schedules. We present both instead of choosing the cheaper figure or describing storage alone as the full annual cost. This is a document-based review, not a firsthand purchase or service test.

IRA minimum and the separate cash-purchase option

Noble's Gold IRA product page lists a $20,000 IRA minimum. A separate cash/home-delivery section lists $10,000. These are different arrangements: the smaller cash figure should not be advertised as the minimum for its IRA.

The company prominently markets gold and silver. Its IRA information also discusses eligible platinum and palladium in a self-directed precious-metals IRA. Confirm actual inventory and product eligibility with the custodian. Rare or collectible coins advertised elsewhere in the catalog are not automatically eligible IRA investments.

Fees: two official pages give different answers

CostPublished guidance
Setup: product page$50 + $30 wire
Setup: support FAQ$80
Annual maintenance: both pages$125
Annual storage: product / FAQ$160 / $150
Annual total: product / FAQ$285 / $275
In-kind distribution: product page$75
Account closure: product page$250

Fixed fees exclude dealer premiums and additional transactions. Confirm your account agreement; Noble’s public schedules differ.

Checked on October 3, 2026, the IRA product-page table lists $50 setup, $30 wire, $125 annual account maintenance and $160 annual storage. The recurring components total $285 per year. That table also lists $75 for an in-kind distribution and $250 for account closure.

The support FAQ, however, states an $80 one-time setup fee and a $275 annual total, comprising $125 custody and $150 segregated storage. The difference is not resolved by the reviewed public pages.

Our recommendation: get the currently applicable custodian/depository fee agreement in writing. Ask which schedule applies to your new account, what the wire fee covers and whether distributions or closure attract additional charges. Neither schedule supports describing storage alone as the full account cost.

Both annual figures exclude the dealer premium or spread on the metals and may exclude additional transactions. Compare the precise coin or bar price with its indicative resale bid. Flat annual fees do not protect against investment losses or high product premiums.

Segregated storage and the custodian

The support page identifies International Depository Services and describes Texas, Delaware and Mississauga facilities. It says Noble offers segregated storage, which keeps your assigned metals separate rather than pooling them with other clients' holdings.

The same FAQ uses names including Equity Institutional and Equity Trust for Gold IRA services, and New Direction IRA Services in its Silver IRA information. Confirm the legal name of the actual custodian and the specific facility available to your account; do not assume every listed international storage option applies to a US IRA.

Ask for storage, insurance and account-access documentation. Segregated storage is a custody feature, not a guarantee of the metal's value, the custodian's performance or the dealer's repurchase price.

Buyback language: distinguish a program from price protection

Noble's company page markets a “guaranteed buyback program” for metals purchased from Noble. This is the company's wording, not our guarantee. The reviewed pages do not establish a fixed buyback-price formula or promise repayment of the original retail premium.

Ask which products qualify, how bids are calculated, when payment is made and whether there are minimums or deductions. Also consider the separate distribution and account-closure charges listed on the IRA product page. A willingness to buy metals back is not the same as guaranteeing a profitable sale or an entirely fee-free exit.

Bonus offers and direct-purchase products

The official Silver Bonus page describes speaking with a representative and completing a purchase or opening a Gold IRA to claim a bonus coin. The reviewed page did not establish a full public qualifying-amount schedule, coin valuation or deadline.

Do not assume that requesting an information kit alone earns a coin. Obtain the amount, product, delivery and timing conditions before treating a promotion as part of your decision. Noble's direct-purchase metal packages and home delivery should also be kept separate from the IRA account and its approved custody arrangements.

Home delivery is not an IRA-storage shortcut

A cash purchase of personal gold and an IRA purchase have different rules. IRS guidance identifies exceptions for specified coins and qualifying bullion and says qualifying bullion must be in the physical possession of a bank or approved non-bank trustee.

Do not rely on a dealer page that blurs home delivery and IRA custody. Have the custodian and a qualified tax professional confirm your account's arrangement before moving retirement money or taking physical delivery. A distribution can have tax consequences even if the product was originally IRA eligible.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Explicit $20,000 IRA minimum on the product page
  • Itemized account charges published, although inconsistent across pages
  • Segregated storage described in the support FAQ
  • Company markets a repurchase program for its own customers

Watch out for

  • Product and support pages disagree on annual storage and total fees
  • Metal premiums and potential exit charges are additional
  • Buyback marketing does not establish a guaranteed price
  • Bonus qualifications require further written confirmation

Our verdict

Noble may fit investors seeking segregated storage who meet its IRA minimum. We would make a clarified written fee agreement a prerequisite, not an afterthought. Until the public fee discrepancy is resolved for your account, it is not possible to present one definitive annual price or claim that Noble is cheaper than competing providers.
